We have listed our favourite restaurants here below, if you show up before 9PM you are guaranteed a spot. For anytime later or weekends or holidays we recommend a reservation at the follwoing locations. On Peatonal Sarmiento you have plenty of Restaurants, as well as north of the Peatonal on Sarmiento #700 you have 4 of Mendoza's best. There are a variety of restaurants/cafes on Aristides de Villanueva street all within walking distance with our favourites being Palenque, Cocina Poblana and Chano Bar.

Las Tinajas Lavalle #38 (corner San Martin and Lavalle) Tel  261 4291174  Book reservation online at http://www.lastinajas.com (Choose English Version) and can see recipes, etc... Buffet self serve food with amazing variety and qulaity of options.  $14 Pesos all you can eat, BBQ beef and chicken, pastas, seafood, salads, stir fry, cold meats and vegetables, and a dessert bar to die for.  You grab your plate and a waiter serves your drinks (extra).  Not the place to go for a romantic couple dinner as it is huge, but best palce to go to eat a lot and eat well.
