From Bariloche

To Fly

You can fly from Bariloche (BRC) to Buenos Aires and then from Buenos Aires (AEP) fly on the daily flight to San Rafael (AFA) except Sundays or if staying in a hotel fly to Malargue (LGS) on the charter flight on Saturday mornings or afternoons. 

Bus

1. There is a daily Andesmar bus that leaves Bariloche at 4:25 PM and arrives in San Rafael bus station at 6:14 AM and is $55 USD one way in a cama seat.

Andesmar bus from Bariloche is a special night bus with comfortable big seats and dinner is served on the bus and there is usually a movie or two and can sleep pretty comfy. The advantage of going with Andesmar is you can pre-book and prepay on-line with a credit card. *BE SURE TO PRINT YOUR TICKET CONFIRMATION BEFORE GOING ON THE BUS OR EVEN BETTER BEFORE GETTING TO THE BUS STATION. YOU NEED TO PRESENT THE PAPER PRINTOUT OF THE TICKET AND THE ID OR PASSPORT YOU GAVE AS ID ON THE ON-LINE PURCHASE TO GET ON THE BUS. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU ON JUST WITH THE NAME OR CONF#*   *PLEASE NOTE*: YOU CAN ONLY BOOK ANDESMAR.COM ON THEIR WEBSITE WITHIN 1 MONTH OF DESIRED BUENOS AIRES -SAN RAFAEL/LAS LEÑAS DEPARTURE DATE. THEIR WEBSITE IS NOT SET UP TO HANDLE RESERVATIONS EARLIER THAN THAT. WE CAN NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS OR BOOK FOR YOU EITHER.  .

2. There is a daily Tramat bus that leaves Bariloche at 1:00 PM and arrives in San Rafael bus station at 4:47 AM and is $45 USD one way in a cama seat. This is also booked on www.andesmar.com.
